Three weeks and two days until my due date, and the doc says I may not go all 40 weeks. Woohoo!
I’ve spent the past couple of weeks eating, trying to sleep, and working on my business taxes. I’m hoping to finish all the business stuff before baby arrives so that I don’t have to worry about it at that point. We’ll see…..
Currently listening to the Preds absolutely pulverize the Red Wings. That’s a very happy thing to be doing this evening. It’s the 3rd period, and the Predators lead the Wings 7-0. Yes, you read that correctly. 7-0.
Our wonderful dads (my dad and Paul”s dad) finished painting the nursery tonight, so we are starting to organize baby stuff a little bit. Of course the perfectionist in me wants to find the BEST WAY to sort all the baby paraphernalia. I need to optimize the nursery, so to speak. But for the moment I’m just sorting it the best I can and knowing some items will be moved as I figure out this motherhood thing.
Everyone has been very generous with gifts and offers of help. I’m really grateful to be where I am right now. I know that I have been showered with blessings, and I hope I get the chance to pass along the blessings in the future.
final score of the Preds game was 8-0 BTW 🙂
Yay yay yay, you are so close! Good luck getting ready – if you have some time, Becca and I would love to come visit before little Ian makes his appearance. And we still rearrange nursery gear after she’s been home 4 months. 🙂
Wanna see pics of your adorable nursery! (Since I know you’re not busy with anything else…) It was already so cute even with just the tree painted a couple of weekends ago. Don’t pressure yourself too much to arrange and optimize your space in Ian’s room–as you live in the space with him things really tend to sort themselves out. Place to sleep, little place to lie him down for diaper changes, basics! I can hardly believe he’s almost here.
i’m so excited for you! another blogger baby coming soon!
