Oh my goodness, the oldest boy is five. And as I watch the freckles spread across his face, I love finding out more about this person he is becoming. In mostly his own words, here’s a snapshot of Ian’s life right now.
Favorite Toys: Legos. “My birthday was a big kid Lego birthday and I turned five.”
Future Occupation: He’s moved from hockey player to organ player to rocket scientist to policeman in the past year. Currently he says he doesn’t know what he’s going to be when he grows up. “I don’t know about that.”
Favorite Things to Do: Play hockey in person and on the Playstation. “I like puppies and kitties. Puppies are really snugful and really like people. Kitties…I really hope I could hug one some day.”
Best Friends: “Edward and JoJo and Keiran and Des and Rylan”
Favorite Ways to Help Around the House: “Cleaning up my room, helping moving things when mommy’s back is hurting.”
What Do You Think Is Important? “Capturing bad guys, fast trains.”
Favorite Thing to Watch: Curious George
Favorite Sons: Hockey songs, especially “Sandstorm”
“I really like all that stuff.”
I’m so glad to know you, big guy.
