I’m on vacation this week, visiting Mickey Mouse and his friends. Did you know that Disney supports Bead for Life? The fair trade organization uses recycled paper beads to create employment opportunities for women in Africa, and Disney Parks sends them their outdated maps and entertainment guides to be recycled into handcrafted jewelry. The bracelets and necklaces are available at kiosks in Walt Disney World (alas, not Disneyland, so none for me!).
