The Gulf Coast has been a vacation destination for our family for many years. It also has been the scene of several attempts to dig the world’s biggest hole. Photo by Paul Nicholson.

Friends! It’s been so long since I’ve shared anything. I’ve been writing for other sites, managing summer schedules, and eating chocolate while avoiding my to-do list.

HOWEVER, I’m back in action (for today, at least) and want to share some more posts I wrote for LAFamilyTravel.com.

First up, we have some ideas for outdoor fun during family reunions. I wrote this during the height of COVID, so it’s full of germ-aware ways to gather with our loved ones. I think it still has some good ideas, especially for those of us with unvaccinated kids: 6 Tips to Plan a Safer Holiday Family Reunion.

Next, I spill the secrets of one of our favorite vacation spots: the Gulf Coast. I’ve been going to those sandy shores for decades. Read about where to stay and what to do in Four Spots on the Gulf Coast for a Low-Key Family Vacation.

And finally, I share about my love/hate relationship with London and how we navigated the city with our kids: How to Have a Family Vacation in London without Going Nuts. (Extra thanks for this one go to my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, who are true pros at traveling with kiddos.)
