I found a gem this weekend digging in the free bin at McKay’s.
I already love the Better Homes & Gardens cookbook; it’s been invaluable as I try to figure out how to cook, how long veggies stay fresh, and how to substitute when I’m missing ingredients.
I know even less about sewing than I do cooking, so I figure I could use a guide like this to illustrate alterations, working with patterns, etc. Plus, I just can’t resist the retro-fabulousness of it all, especially when it’s free.
