Bracelet: Ten Thousand Villages (similar) | Cross Pendant: Ten Thousand Villages | Dress: Modcloth
This week I’m featuring a couple of fair trade pieces from Ten Thousand Villages, a non-profit founded in 1946 with stores throughout the United States and Canada.
The cross pendant is a piece I bought for myself when I was first learning about the fair trade concept. I love that it is crafted from pruned olive branches by artists in the Palestinian territoties.
The zebra print bracelet was a Christmas gift from my husband one year. Jewelry that is beautiful AND fair trade? He wins! (Shout out here to my peep M Diddy, who should also go buy fair trade jewelry for his wife.)
Special note: My friend Lindsay at Suburban Turmoil is blogging about fair trade coffee this week and hosting a Keurig and Green Mountain Coffee giveaway. (I get a sweepstakes entry for blogging about it — check out the post to find out how you can enter!)
