Pants: Sudara | Tank: Everlane | Sandals: Sseko | Hat: Faire Collection

Last year my sweet boys gave me a pair of plaid Sudara Punjammies for Mother’s Day, and they are the most comfortable pants EVER. I expected the brushed flannel to be hot and thick, but the soft, breathable fabric means I get a good night’s sleep.

With Bohemian, globally-inspired prints popping up in recent seasons, I found myself wishing for a pair of Punjammies to wear in a non-pajama capacity. I received these Punjammies as part of She Changes Everything’s holiday giveaway in December, and they already are on regular rotation in my wardrobe.

Sudara seeks to provide employment to women who have escaped human trafficking or who seek to avoid trafficking as they struggle to provide for their families. Sudara partners with local organizations in India to create small sewing centers where Punjammies are made. Women who choose to work at the sewing centers are able to learn job skills and receive employment placement services, enabling them to provide for themselves and their children long after they leave the organization.

In addition to paying a living wage to workers, Sudara and their indigenous partners also work to provide education and safe housing to employees in need. They seek to create a community of healing and opportunity as part of a long-term battle against human slavery.

One of my favorite aspects of Sudara is the variety of sizes they offer customers. Their generous sizing ranges from XS up to XXL (size 20-22), so they are one of the few ethical brands with options for multiple body types. Sudara also offers Tall and Petite sizing, as well as a slim fit option for certain prints.

I’m 5’8 and usually a size 10, and the Medium Punjammies fit me well. I would love to try a pair with a Tall inseam, though — I definitely have to stick with flat shoes when wearing the standard fit. I’ve been washing and drying my plaid Punjammies for several months, and the fabric and construction of the pants are holding up well. I line-dry my newer pair to keep them looking vibrant and crisp.

If you need one more reason to buy a pair of Punjammies, then know that each pair has pockets, making them infinitely practical for a busy day. Oh, and Sudara offers Punjammies for men and kids, too!

Head over to Sudara and check out their beautiful prints, then let me know which is your fave. Are Punjammies part of your spring wardrobe wishes?
