Can spring really be around the corner? It seems unlikely when my city is covered in snow, but there are a few signs of spring in the fair fashion world.

The Root Collective has debuted a bright, cheery collection of flats for the spring. I wore their Guatemalan striped flats all last summer, and they were my go-to in the early fall as I walked my kindergartner to school. To celebrate the launch of the spring line, the company is offering 20% off their shoes with the coupon code “SPRING” through March 8. Now is a great time to stock up while you are planning your warm weather wardrobe.

Also, have you see the crossbody bags just released by FashionABLE? Seriously, every time this company releases a bag I want one. The crossbody bags look so easy and versatile.

Capsule wardrobes and minimalist wardrobes are everywhere right now, and I definitely find that my closet is in need of some major spring cleaning. I’m excited about investing in a few well-made, ethical pieces and passing along clothing that no longer fits or that I no longer love. I’m finding inspiration from Hannah at Lifestyle Justice and Leah at StyleWise as they post their closet contents.

We’ve almost made it, friends. Spring is just around the corner. Hang in there.
