Swimsuit: Esther Williams via Modcloth (Made in the USA) | Shorts: Upcycled from Old Navy jeans | Earrings: MADE for Anthropologie (similar) (Fair Trade)
Happy Independence Day, everybody! Today I’m celebrating with a retro pin-up look featuring a made-in-the-USA swimsuit from Esther Williams. I’m grateful to live in a country that allows me life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and I hope I can use my freedom to make choices that promote and preserve the liberty of others around the world.
Trying to dress ethically on a somewhat limited budget means I spend entirely too much time surfing the internet for good sales on fair trade clothing. I’ve decided to put that effort to broader use with Fair Fashion Finds, a site featuring sales and coupon codes for sustainable fashion brands. You can follow us on Tumblr, Facebook, or Twitter; with this weekend’s Fourth of July sales, now is a great time to subscribe!
