Nashville is a popular vacation spot these days. One of my favorite travel destinations is my own city, and I’m always excited to share my favorite stops. Check out the festive winter fun we found in Nashville, plus my recommendations for the best kid-friendly restaurants and museums.

Winter Fun

The nice folks at Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Resort invited our family to experience Winterfest so we could spread the word about the outdoor skating, tubing, and fun they’re hosting through the end of February. We had a wonderful time in the winter wonderland they’ve built outside the hotel. Find out which activity we are planning to do again (and which one I only tried once!).

Must-See Museums

At our house, we’re all big fans of history, science, and art, so you can imagine that museums are some of our favorite places to visit. I especially love finding lesser-known museums that take us a bit off the beaten track.
